About Rachel Hewson Loosemore Family Tree
There are 40+ generations included in this family tree. There are individuals in all
lines still being researched.

I have two special interests: my convict ancestors... Elizabeth Cole (First Fleet), Richard
Cornelius Burrows (Second Fleet) and Sylvester Lush (first convicts in Tasmania)... and the two
lines I have researched back to an incredible number of notable, noble, and royal ancestors
from my 3 x great-grandmothers Tryphena Mostyn Owen (paternal) and Emma Fox (maternal). The
majority of ancestors and relatives from the Early and High Middle Ages on these two lives
have been sourced from old family pedigree records. Many of these have indeed proven to be kin,
but others definitely still require research.

I'm grateful to family members, newly discovered distant cousins, and fellow family historians
that I've met along the way, for providing information, sources and photos, and for giving me a
lot of excellent advice and/or leads.

Genealogy is such a fascinating and absorbing hobby. It's humbling to realise that we only
exist because of life events and personal choices made by our ancestors.. and that we belong to
a very large extended family. I believe the old adage that you don't know who you are until you
understand where you've come from.

I hope you enjoy looking around my site and if you like what you see, or you think that we may
be related in some way, please sign my Guestbook... AND LEAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IF YOU'D
LIKE A REPLY!

Cheers, Rachel

PS I'm always adding new photos to my family albums. Please enjoy looking through them.
